ASTOR is a stylish fully stabilised and air-conditioned cruise liner with capacity for 620 guests. She has seven passenger decks. Her wide range of public facilities include the very impressive Waldorf Restaurant offering a traditional two sitting fixed time dining option and, as an alternative more informal experience, the stylish Übersee Club Bistro. There are five lounge areas – the theatre style ASTOR Lounge, for some truly sparkling entertainment from the highly acclaimed show-team; the elegant Captain’s Club, a perfect venue for pre-dinner cocktails with the resident pianist; the intimate Hanse Bar which leads onto the stylish Sonnen (Sun) Terrace Bar, with wonderful panoramic ocean views; and the Poolside Bar where the head barman will soon get to know your favourite drink. Other facilities include the ship’s Library, the Card Room, an internet café, a shopping arcade featuring a boutique, jeweller, perfumery and the Wellness Centre, which offers hairdressing and beauty treatments, an indoor swimming pool, ocean view fitness and exercise equipment, and sauna and massage facilities. There is an outdoor swimming pool, two whirlpools and, in keeping with her heritage, a traditional walk around promenade deck. There is a very good selection of comfortable modern cabin accommodation from Standard to De Luxe with 70% of cabins having an ocean view with individually controlled air-conditioning. An outstanding feature of ASTOR is the sports deck where you can enjoy volleyball, half court tennis, table tennis, jogging track, big board chess, golf practice and yoga.

This cabin has floor to ceiling windows, leading to a private terrace overlooking the ships bow, lounge room with sofa, separate bedroom with king size double bed, walk in wardrobe and private bathroom facilities, DVD player, fridge and Mini Bar facilities (charge applies). ASTOR Suite benefits include all the Senator and Deluxe Suite benefits plus Tea/Coffee making facilities, 50 cm flat screen TV, Towelling, Bathrobe and Slippers for use onboard and enhanced bathroom amenity pack. These cabins have a private balcony overlooking the ships bow. They have lounge room, with sofa, bedroom with double bed, walk in wardrobe and private bathroom facilities with bath, DVD player and fridge. Senator Suite benefits include all the Deluxe Suite benefits plus Priority Boarding, Welcome bottle of Champagne (instead of wine) and mineral water on arrival, Fresh Flowers on arrival, priority boarding at tender ports, Special ‘At your Leisure’ Disembarkation service, Australia Daily Newspaper delivered on Disembarkation Day (subject to availability). – located on Boots Deck.

Deluxe Suite

These cabins have floor to ceiling windows, 1 double bed, lounge, walk in wardrobe and private bathroom facilities, DVD player, 17/19″ flat screen TV, towelling bathrobes and slippers, tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary cabin breakfast service, fresh fruit basket on embarkation replenished every day, Pre-dinner hors d’oeuvre each evening and on formal nights a plate of petite fours will be placed in the cabin. These cabins have 3 lower single beds and 1 retractable upper (Bunk) Pullman style bed. They have private bathroom facilities. This category is sold only to four passengers under a single booking.
