SHIP PROFILE
Nothing quite matches the feeling of standing on the deck of a square rigger with the wind in your face and the smell of salt in the air, as you watch the huge red sails billowing aloft. With the warm wooden deck beneath your feet and the tropical sun above, Coral Trekker will sail you away for an adventure of a lifetime.
All distinctions of age, sex and nationality disappear in a communion of yells and laughter as we haul ropes and prepare to set sail for the Great Barrier Reef and the Whitsunday Islands aboard our lovingly restored 23m Norwegian sailing ship ‘Coral Trekker’.
Join the crew in the rigging (they’ll show you the ropes) or just sit back and relax on the wide timber decks. The itinerary is unhurried, setting aside lots of time for strolling secluded beaches, snorkelling, scuba diving and hiking national park trails..
Built in Norway in 1939, this traditional sailing ship displays a unique and charming character. With topsail’s, t’gallants and yardarms she has all the olde world charm and romance of yesteryear.
Coral Trekker caters for comfort adventurers seeking a unique and quality adventure experience. With a maximum of only 14 guests, this small group sailing adventure offers personalised attention and a hands on experience. Accommodation is available in double staterooms, twin cabins and one 4 berth.
Whether travelling alone, with a group or family, you will have a wonderful time on board Coral Trekker.
