Cruise Description
3 Night Cruise sailing from Sitka roundtrip aboard Admiralty Dream.
Day 1: Sitka
Embark Admiralty Dream. The captain and crew provide an Alaskan welcome which starts by escorting you to your cabin where your luggage, jacket, pants and boots have been delivered.
Day 2: Glacier Bay National Park
We start the morning (early) visiting Glacier Bay National Park to explore this unique part of Southeast Alaska. A U.S. Park Service Ranger narrates today’s program and a Native Huna Tlingit interpretive naturalist joins us to reveal traditional cultural ties to this ancient treasure. This evening we visit Bartlett Cove and enjoy a forest walk near the shoreline.
Day 3: Eastern Baranof Island Exploration
We explore Lake Eva, located on Eastern Baranof Island. Here we will have the opportunity to view this unique part of the island with opportunities to view marine and wildlife, hike the Lake Eva trail, and enjoy sea kayaking and guided tours via a watercraft/DIB (skiff).
After Lake Eva we continue our Alaskan Hospitality including an afternoon presentation by our Scientific and Cultural Expedition Leaders, social hour with hors d’oeuvres and a special dinner prepared by the Admiralty Dream Executive Chef!
Day 4: Sitka
Our quest concludes.
