Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1. Arrive Budapest
Today embark your ship, take in the city lights as your ship departs.
Stay: Seven Nights: one of APT’s luxurious Concerto River Ships
Day 2. Bratislava
Enjoy a scenic cruise to Bratislava. Disembark and enjoy a walking tour, passing the Old Town Hall and the Mirbach Palace. The afternoon is then yours at leisure.
Day 3. Vienna, A Royal Invitation
Disembark in Vienna and enjoy a sightseeing tour. After dinner, visit the newly renovated City Palace for a hosted Cocktail Reception and enjoy a private concert.
Day 4. Vienna, Freedom of Choice
Enjoy your selected sightseeing activity on your second day in Vienna.
Day 5. Dürnstein, Freedom of Choice, Melk
Explore Dürnstein then cruise to Melk, or ride a bicycle along the river. In Melk, both groups will tour the Abbey.
Day 6. Linz, Freedom of Choice, Passau, Vilshofen
From Linz, perhaps take a trip to Salzburg; visit Ceský Krumlov; or cruise to Passau for a tour. Tonight, enjoy ‘Oktoberfest’ in Vilshofen, with Bavarian beer.
Day 7. Regensburg, Freedom of Choice
Take a walking tour of Regensburg or enjoy a bicycle ride to the temple of Walhalla.
Day 8. Disembark Regensburg
This morning after breakfast disembark in Regensburg.
